Andover Lights Tree Dressing Project Nov 2012

Almost finished all the school workshops for this lovely project, celebrating the importance trees play in our urban environment.  It began originally in London 20 years ago and is growing in popularity.

I am quietly confident that the three designated trees in Andover town centre will be dressed splendidly, thanks to all the hard work and dedication of pupils and staff.  It hasn't been easy, co-ordinating enough supplies, equipment and space as well as harnessing the concentration of pupils. Added to that these decorations have to last 2 months,  survive our British weather and looking amazing.  But they've done themselves proud, all three schools, Andover C of E, Harrow Way and Portswood juniors, have been totally fantastic and are incredible schools.
