10 days Creative Collisions

I am taking part in the '10 days Creative Collisions' project with Belinda Mitchell in Winchester Cathedral. Our successful proposal investigates through a collaborative project,  how the spaces and the contexts we work in influence a conversation about drawing.

Documents from the Winchester City archaeology archive will be used as the basis to craft a ‘silent conversation’ in the north nave of Winchester Cathedral.  The focus will be the ceiling and its ornamental lierne vaulting, symbolic of binding communities.

The project rethinks archaeological drawing in different locations and materialises it into an installation, whilst engaging with the materiality of the space and the surface of paper.

Our work has started and we can be found very often in the north nave with our drawing equipment.
