Hooray hip hooray etc! Today i've been to visit the library at Waterlooville and saw the carpet down for the first time. Modesty permitting it looks bloody fantastic. The designs for the walls/windows and surfaces are now in print. Prior to this a special trip was made to the primary school where the original graphics were created. We (Katrina Talbot, interior designer for Hampshire County Council) and myself showed the children how their original drawings have been translated into graphics. There was a silence followed by big excitement. I have a glow! The official opening is 15 October. Can't wait.
