The birds are up in the atrium theatre space. With the help of some very generous people it all went swimmingly and was a much easier exercise than the cathedral experience. The exhibition officially opens today, 10th September, even though the framed work isn't up yet, that's happening on Monday. I don't mind this at all because there may be an opportunity to throw myself at Ross Noble who's performing there in the evening. i know i should know better but there's life in the old girl yet. (note to husband. I wouldn't climb over you for him! x).
I am a site-responsive visual artist based in Hampshire, UK. My practice is materials and process based and includes alternative print, paper and stitch. My work can be viewed on www.eileenwhite.co.uk.

Another new venture in another lovely space; the Theatre Royal Winchester. My birdies, more formally known as 'memento' are going back up one more time. This time they're 1 mtr higher than the last venue where they were swinging from the tie bars in Winchester Cathedral at 8 mtrs. Thankfully i've been saved the vertigo this time as a frame's been made. The work can be installed at ground level before being hoisted up. phew.
