after a disasterous nights sleep due to the whole house being woken by nightmares, (unsurprising himindoors says, when it looks like a hitchcock film......) we all took the day off school and got on with finishing the birds.

These two have been put to one side for ruby and grace for christmas. apart from this they may get a bag of choccies.................. alas, no time for chrimbo shopping. wonder if i can get away giving one to himindoors? would save a lot of highstreet grief?

I've used all my old samples of hand stitched table cloths, tray cloths etc. they're all so beautiful and delicately sewn which must have taken hours. I wish i had the time and skills to do this........... I've hand made each dress and then tea dyed it to complement the overall look of the each doll.

today has been a mad rush with all the finishing touches for the dollybird deluxes; ironing dresses, handfinishing tutu's, labels, bows in hair and choosing the names. I thought as they were angels they should have a seasonal reference, so i dug out a dusty bible and went through the old testament. I now feel very rightous and am off for two hob nobs by way of reward.

getting there very very slowly.

i've been spending every spare minute cutting, stuffing, stitching my new dollybird deluxe range.
