'dwell' a piece of work for the 're-imagining treasures of hyde abbey' exhibition. i made this as a direct response to the historic and living history of my locality. I spent many an hour in our local historic resources centre being guided by experts such as graham scobie and alice fennel who are truly books on legs with brains the size of a planet. as usual i spent far too long drawing, cutting, placing and rearranging bits of paper into their final resting place. the framed article (yes in it's handmade and painted frame) is now on a wall in winchester discovery centre, where i hope someone will part with some english pounds and take it home with them.
